Radial Repair
Units are constructed of the highest quality rubber compound. This ensures the high flexibility in compound and design. Each radial repair unit has a flexible “shock absorbing” ply of rubber to withstand the flexing associated with a radial constructed tire. This unit will work with both tube and tubeless tire constructions. The strong tensile strength of the fabric ply is to replace the structural integrity of the tire. The top cover stock of the repair unit is then molded in place to anchor and protect the plies. These repairs are manufactured with the chemical vulcanizing facing gum to permanently vulcanize and bond to the tire’s inner liner.

Note for Passenger Tires: Tires with speed rating of H, V, W, Y OR Z are repairable in the {T-T) crown area not to exceed X” (6mm) or one injury per tire to maintain their speed rating designation. Run flat tires maintain the same limitation as the performance tire except multiple nail hole repairs may be performed unless it is in the same radial cord or where overlap. Performance tires are repairable beyond the shoulder area; the speed rating is then reduced below an H rating.
Note: Repair of performance tire should not exceed or supersede limitation of the new tire manufacturer’s recommendations. This selections repair chart is to be suggested guide only. All injuries should be filled and supported with the appropriate repair unit. Conditions may affect limitations by load, speed and application.
